Dr. Charles B. Cairns is an Emergency Medicine physician and the Annenberg Dean and Senior Vice President of the College of Medicine at Drexel University. He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He was previously the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona and Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. He is a leader in emergency medicine and critical care research.
