MICHAEL GANETSKY, M.D., FACEP, FACMT
Dr. Ganetsky runs the Medical Toxicology consult service, which is only one of two such adult services in Massachusetts.
NATHAN SHAPIRO, M.D.
Dr. Shapiro is vice-chairman of research for the department. He is an active research is both the clinical and translational arena focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of Sepsis.
MICHAEL FILBIN, M.D.
Dr. Filbin has been a leader in MGH Sepsis Care Redesign and Partners-wide sepsis initiatives. He has received funding from the MIT-MGH Grand Challenge, CRICO Risk Management Foundation, and Nihon-Kohden Corporation for his work in early detection, intervention, and quality assessment for patients with septic shock in the Emergency Department.
JOHN T. NAGURNEY, M.D.
Dr. John T. Nagurney (MD, MPH) is a graduate of Harvard College and the Cornell University Medical College. He also has a Master’s degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is double-boarded in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.
JARROD M. MOSIER, M.D.
Dr. Mosier is a native of Elko, Nevada and attended college at Boise State University. He completed medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Arizona.
CHARLES B. CAIRNS, M.D.
Dr. Cairns is the Assistant Vice President for Clinical Research and Clinical Trials at the University of Arizona Health Sciences, Dean of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, and a professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the UA College of Medicine – Tucson.
CHRISTOPHER COYNE, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Christopher Coyne is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of California San Diego. He completed his medical school training at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). He stayed in Los Angeles and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center.
STEPHEN R. HAYDEN, M.D.
Dr. Hayden graduated from the accelerated six-year biomedical program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He did a General Surgery internship at the San Diego Naval Hospital, which was followed by a tour of duty as senior flight surgeon for the Naval Strike Warfare Center at the NAS Fallon, Nevada.
R. GENTRY WILKERSON, M.D.
Dr. Wilkerson joined the Emergency Medicine faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2012.
STEPHEN THOM, M.D.
Dr. Thom is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine.
